Kawaii Cosmetics: Eyeko Beauty Contest!

I wanted to have some fun and have a teeny-tiny little contest so you all can enjoy the kawaii cosmetics that I have been using lately. My favorite new brand is Eyeko and I have to tell you that their 3 in 1 Cream has changed my make-up life!
I reviewed it previously but now since I’ve been using it daily for about a month I really can tell you the benefits of using it. It is billed as a moisturizer, highlighter and eye cream but it is so much more. It could really be a 4 in 1 truth be told, or a 5 in 1 cream!
I don’t use base so this acts as my moisturizer and primer. That is what it is most brilliant as truly – this cream goes on super silky, leaves a subtle glow but more than that primes your skin for the next steps in your regimen. It is lightweight and I can safely say it does not cause blemishes. It is also superb for your skin with vitamins A, E and a special vitamin C boost. I really have no idea what that means but whatever it is it really gives my skin a lovely glow.
I have often had difficulty with face creams being too heavy for my skin but this one is perfect. It is whipped like marshmallow fluff and your skin just drinks it up without leaving a trace of greasiness.
Since this is such a great product (the fifth use is as a neck cream and for your decolletage!) I am having a little contest and here are the prizes:

The cutest cosmetic product I own is Urban Decay’s lipstick. The purple tube fits into a clear lucite cover with designs on it that allow the tube to show through. The very bottom of the tube has a sword hilt that you use to pull the tube out of the cover. It looks so cute standing on the vanity.

definitely feels like it is. It’s pretty cute when closed, being pink and decorated with flowers, but it’s the softness (and the sweet association with teddy bears) that makes me enjoy applying powder and then buffing, and buffing, and buffing…

This is the first time I have ever seen Eyeko stuff. Really cute! Right now my favorite cute make-up is Pixi which I get at Target. I like all the cute little kits and sets and they have really neat lipgloss.

I found your link from Daily Cute – so here goes, my favorite kawaii cosmetics are anything from Hello Kitty becuz well its …uh…Hello Kitty so how could it be anything BUT kawaii? Seriously they have cute lip gloss kits n stuff. I kind of collect them but they are hard to find nowadays.

I used to like this brand that they don’t have anymore called Pinky Swear that was really cute. I liked the compacts they had and the glittery and sparkly eyeshadows and they all came in little round containers with pink glittery kisses on them.

! Well, my cutest cosmetic right now is a lipgloss from estee lauder. Its a “High Gloss Ultra Brilliance lipgloss”, that gives your lips an awesome shine, without standing out too much. It never leaves my purse, its a must everywhere I go!

I have to agree with CodyDody about Hello Kitty One of my favorite possessions is the Hello Kitty Swarovski Crystal powder compact (a major splurge). I love all of the Hello Kitty cosmetics by Mac and have quite a few — you can find some on eBay. Just beware of the fakes (OMG, that’s most of the eyeshadows).

ALL of my cruelty-free cosmetics are cute because the lives of cute animals were spared in creating them. To learn more you can go to PETA and find out which companies do not do animal testing. I love animals as much as I love cosmetics.
If I have to name one cute item, though, it’s my Smashbox Tokidoki Eye Shadow quad (even the mirror inside is decorated). I love all Tokidoki AND Smashbox is cruelty-free.

I already posted but I had to tell you about my daughter’s Barbie makeup (by M.A.C.). I think she has everything they made (or nearly), each in adorable Barbie packaging. Mattel took it a step further and even made a M.A.C. makeup artist Barbie doll who looks exactly like Carmindy (the beautiful makeup artist everyone knows from “What Not to Wear”). You can’t get much cuter than darling makeup WITH an accompanying Barbie doll!

This is a cool contest. I never heard of Eyeko before. My favorite cute cosmetic is actually nail polish in really bright fun colors and also those new nail art pens from Sally Hanson. You can make your nails totally kawaii with those.

I like mini anything! Urban Decay has mini pencils, I like mini lipglosses (bourjois and urban decay often have them)and mini kits with little teeny tiny brushes. ANything so tiny you can put it in your purse and still do a full makeup on the way to work is neat.

I found you at DailyCute.net and have been enjoying your reviews…especially makeup. I’m addicted to lipgloss and especially like my Bloom Key Chain Lip Gloss that comes in 3 colors (I have them all). I also have several of the Bourjois Lip Gloss Cell Phone Charms (it comes in a bunch of colors). A girl can never have too much lipgloss!
