Kawaii Food: Cute Cookbooks
Since I showed you some of the adorable food that you can make in your lust for bento I thought you might like to check out some of my favorite cute bento cookbooks too. These are ones I actually own and use often.
Great cute food cookbook, terrific ideas and all made for bento.
I adore this cookbook, plus it’s spiral so it lays flat. You can literally make anything with a piece of cheese and ham or turkey!
This is part two and I cannot wait for it to get here!
This is a great book that talks about charaben and has some of the finest examples I’ve seen.
This book may not have the best photos but it does have tons of ideas and recipes. You will be making bento in a snap.
Another new book, I will update you once I go through it.
Also new and looking forward to getting it.

I have been checking in about once a week hoping you’d resume posting. My patience paid off!
The books look fantastic. I have a bento cookbook and a few bento boxes in different sizes. I love to have supper in the large boxes because they are like divided plates and keep things separated. So far I’ve only made a few “cute” bento items for lunch and they took me a lot of time. I think I need practice. Do you think there are children who have lunches like that everyday in Japan?
