Searching for Kawaii Food
I am the Queen of bento boxes even though I never pack a lunch. It’s a little nutty but I love all the super kawaii things to make bento. I have made bento for other people I care about and that is kind of nice. Adoring bento lead me to look for cute food too, how some people make adorable and kawaii bento box lunches. Why haven’t I seen the Hello Kitty pocky? I love Hello Kitty and I love pocky — how perfect. Black and white animals are the cutest and the panda cookies are too much!
The bento lunches are something else. Imagine opening your lunchbox (in this case, bento box) at school and being the envy of every child there. Maybe it’s not so unusual in Japan; perhaps all the kids have cute lunches. It would sure beat American PB&J on Wonder bread with an apple and Twinkies! They ALL look too kawaii to eat!
